Medical Device Assembler

, ,We are seeking a highly-skilled and innovative candidate who is excited to make meaningful contributions in prototyping, device assembly, and process development efforts as an integral part of a cross-functional engineering and production team.
Main Responsibilities:
- Micro-assembly of electro-mechanical medical device prototypes using a microscope.
- Manufacturing of catheter assemblies / subassemblies.
- Perform in-process mechanical and electrical inspections.
- Maintain detailed and accurate build records.
Key Requirements:
- At least some post-high school education OR >3 years relevant job experience.
- Small mechanical assembly experience, some work under a microscope highly preferred.
- Highly detail-oriented with a keen understanding of production paperwork, record-keeping, document creation, and maintenance in a modern medical manufacturing environment.
- Mechanical test experience.
- Good written and verbal communication skills; able to generate technical notes and reports to document his/her work.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree or higher in relevant technical field.
- Medical device experience.
- Able to interpret engineering drawings, mechanical OR electrical.
- Fine wire soldering or SMT component re-work experience.
- Experience working with epoxies or adhesives, thin-film or active coatings.
